AUTHORITY TO STOP WORK

BEHAVIOR

OBSERVERS

Behavior observations are a process aimed at increasing safe behaviors and fostering self-awareness in workers to promote safety.

To achieve this, the process involves planning, observing, intervening, and recording observed behaviors. Constant feedback is provided to the observed population and the organization as a whole. Simultaneously, external factors within the organization that may influence the occurrence or absence of behaviors are addressed.

This activity is carried out by the project staff.

STOP

AND SECURE

The conditions reporting program is undergoing a transition process, moving from “Report and Contribute” to “Stop and Secure,” aiming to enhance the program for improved reporting quality.

Direct labor workers, such as helpers, craftsmen, welders, among others, will report any unsafe conditions they identify in any project area and record them in the program’s format.

Workers will receive incentives for a certain number of reports, and additionally, the highest reporter will receive a monthly prize.

It is a knowledge transmission methodology that places the individual at the center to foster the internalization of good occupational safety practices and a cultural shift within the HL Group.

Through this tool, the aim is to humanize the learning processes of workers so they can carry out their work with quality, safety, and effectiveness.
